Snow Daze

It's funny writing this post as the temperature rises but I just wanted to talk about how I layer for the snow. Of course by now it's all melted but I think it's vital to always be prepared for those random snowstorms in the middle of February and March. I got this scarf from ASOS and I am obsessed with it's versatility. I can definitely see myself using it even in spring on those chillier days. Blanket scarves are perfect for bundling up or adding a layer to a casual outfit. I wore some black skinny jeans and a black jacket for a mostly monochromatic look. I added a pink pom beanie to protect myself from the windy gusts and made sure to pull my hood over it for extra protection when running my errands.

Last but not least, I finished my look with the ever popular boots from LL. Bean. I was very averse to buying them because everyone had a pair. However, after a particularly nasty winter involving a polar vortex I succumbed to the hype. Believe me, I am glad I did because they have already been a winter must-have on those snowy days walking from campus to campus or shoveling my way out of the snow. This year, I haven't shown them much love as it's been rather mild but I think they are the perfect snow boot to keep you dry and protected from the elements.
Hopefully, this was the last snowfall of the season but if not, I hope this gave you some ideas for the next time.
With lots of love,
Christine Celine
