Baltimore is a huge city with various neighborhoods worth exploring. The area that I am most fond of is Fells Point! They have so many great record stores, book stores and dining options. Things to Do

Winkel Gallery

This art gallery belongs to Justin Winkel, a self-taught contemporary artist. Browse his work and maybe find something to take home here.

Along the Way

Along the Way is an antique store with character. You can find some elegant light fixtures here as well as pieces for your formal room here.

Saratoga Trunk

This is another quaint antique store accompanied by the cutest felines on the block. Browse the various trinkets and say hello to their friendly cats here.

Greedy Reads

This is a bookstore with an eclectic selection of books to browse through. They have great programming through the week and I highly suggest looking up their event schedule.

Record Stores to Explore

El Suprimo Records

This is one of my favorite record stores in Baltimore because they have great classic finds for a great price. There is a listening station available to test records out and the store owner is very knowledgeable. The store is packed heavily with records and can feel tight but it’s a fun corner of Baltimore to dive into. On this visit, I picked up some great Fleetwood Mac vinyl for my collection.

Address: 1709 Aliceanna St, Baltimore, MD 21231

Hare’s Breath Records

Another store on the list for rock, folk and synthpop enthusiasts. I enjoyed browsing their selection of used records as well!

Address: 602 S Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231

Sound Garden

This record store is more modern and sells the latest and greatest vinyl to date. If you’re seeking a new vinyl press, this is the place to go. Don’t fret however because they still have a good selection of used vinyl as well. Additionally, there are CD's and DVD’s for sale as well.

Address: 1616 Thames St, Baltimore, MD 21231

Places to Dine

Thai Street in Broadway Market

The Broadway Market is packed with scrumptious options with a variety of food vendors. Thai Street, in particular, did not disappoint. They had a great thai iced tea, vegetarian curry puffs and a crisp papaya salad on the menu that I enjoyed. I can’t wait to return to try more items.

Address: 1640, Aliceanna St #11, Baltimore, MD 21231

Patango

This is my ultimate favorite gelato in Baltimore! It was so good that I ate it all before I could even document it. Definitely try the cardamom, fior di latte or stracciatella gelatos. As for sorbet, you can’t go wrong with any of their seasonal flavors ranging from passionfruit and mango to spicy chocolate.

Address: 802 S Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231

Nanami Cafe

This is a no-frills Japanese restaurant tucked along the waterfront. Here you have the option to sit at one of the traditional Japanese dining tables (No shoes here!) or at a regular table. The sushi is fresh, delicious and surely will hit the spot.
